The fundamental objective of our constitutional laws is to serve as a bulwark for the rights of American citizens. Crafted with meticulous attention, the Bill of Rights was designed to curtail the federal government’s authority and guarantee its transparency and answerability. Regrettably, it seems that the Democrats are flouting these laws and finding ways to avoid seeking congressional approval, particularly when it pertains to ensuring the safety and security of the American people.
The decision to convene these hearings is remarkable, and I am deeply puzzled by its rationale. What is the intended outcome of these hearings if there is no accountability? A chaotic and unfair legal proceeding is currently underway. With Hawley Cruz and Kennedy presenting evidence, elected officials and individuals either avoid questions, provide inaccurate information, or shirk their responsibilities.
Take, for instance,
Listening to Senator Hawley occasionally go after elected officials and present damaging evidence, and listening to these supposed leaders we entrust lie repetitively chaps my hide!!! Senator Cruz and his lambasting of Biden and Mayorkas and the Democrats and what they are doing is just flagrantly un-American, yet, none of the Democrats refused to do their damn job and stand up against it! Instead, they threw a big fat middle finger at the American people!
Hawley questioned Jennifer Granholm about her stock trading, lies, and dark money connections. She misled the committee numerous times, and this is a classic example of denying and delaying. She made millions over nine separate times, using institutions and funds to finance her conferences and foreign billionaires to funnel foreign money into the political system. The filibustering by these Democrats continues to stonewall hearings.
During the Judiciary hearing, Senator Hawley passionately grilled the Democrats about their attempts to politicize the Supreme Court. He argued that the Democrats were using the security needs of the Supreme Court justices to sway their decision-making. This was absolutely astonishing!
Senator Hawsley questioned Mayorkas over the arrest file of Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, who was indicted on ten counts in all: malice murder, three counts of felony murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault with intent to rape, aggravated battery, obstructing a person making an emergency call, tampering with evidence and peeping Tom, according to the file! Yet Mayorkas let this criminal into our country, released him into society, where he committed this awful offense against Laken Riley, and is approved for a work permit; what is wrong here? To make matters worse, Mayorkas lied to several congressional members, and the wayside threw his impeachment! Our elected bodies are refusing to do their jobs!
Senator Kennedy raised concerns about the judicial nominee, Charnelle Bjelkengren, by questioning her on fundamental aspects of the Constitution. In his first inquiry, he asked her to explain the purpose of Article V. Bjelkengren responded by stating that Article V was not currently coming to mind. This lack of knowledge is particularly concerning considering her potential appointment as a U.S. district judge for the Eastern District of Washington. Astonishingly, she is unaware of such a crucial aspect of the Constitution. Continuing his line of questioning, Senator Kennedy then inquired about Article II. Once again, Bjelkengren admitted that this information did not come to her mind either.
Zuckerberg’s disregard for the victims of Facebook, as highlighted by Hawsley, is truly appalling. Despite being presented with evidence of the harm caused by Facebook, Zuckerberg’s response is repulsive. Action must be taken against this individual. Facebook should be shut down and Zuckerberg’s assets frozen. It is crucial to teach him and other Big Tech companies in America a lesson in ethics and responsible business practices, ensuring they are held accountable for their actions.
Ketanji Brown was questioned regarding her lenient stance on child pornography and pedophile criminals. It is perplexing to consider who would apologize to a convicted pedophile for their actions and downplay the severity of their sentencing. It is concerning that someone who supports critical race theory would show leniency towards child molesters. It isn’t easy to comprehend why anyone would want an individual with such views on any court. This situation is truly outrageous.
It is concerning that no one has been convicted or held accountable, and our judicial and protective systems seem ineffective now. Both Democrats and Republicans mocked the hearing process. The climate crisis hearing at a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee and the D.C. statehood hearing in House Oversight and Reform have been superficial and partisan. Despite the efforts of Senators Cruz, Hawley, and Kennedy in their questioning, it yields little to no positive results. It feels like a kangaroo court and is quite disappointing.
